Woke up this morning

Hoping for some good news.

Feeling all blue and glummy.

Looks like a bad case of school day blues.

Went to jump out of bed and hit my head,

I couldn't find my shoes,

My sausage and toast were burnt;

Yup, it's surely school day blues.

The bus stopped and said, "No School!"

I said, "How come?" They said, "No water."

Didn't know why,

Don't you just hate school day blues?

That's what I said and it I knew.

All because I woke up this morning

With a bad case of school day blues!
