Woke up this morning

Hoping for some good news.

Feeling all awake and focused.

Looks like a bad case of school day blues.

Went to get dressed and,

I couldn't find my socks,

My mom told me where they were

and that's the school day blues.

The bus came to my school

and I had breakfast and I

Didn't know that I lost my lunch box,

Don't you just hate school day blues?

Yes, I hate school day blues,

And I was so upset

Because it was so upsetting;

Why, why, why school day blues.

Looks like it's going to be a bad day

That's what I said and it I knew.

All because I woke up this morning

With a bad case of school day blues!
