Woke up this morning

Hoping for some good news.

Feeling all weak and dreary

Looks like a bad case of school day blues.

Went to jump into the shower.

I got out and could'nt find my shoes.

My bacon and eggs were cold as ice.

Yep, it's school day blues.

The bus zoomed off and left me,

Leaving me without a clue.

Did'nt know how I would get there.

Don't you just hate school day blues?

Started out my way walking

Stepped on gum that stuck like glue.

A car flew pass and splashed mud on me.

Why, why, why, school day blues?

Looks like it's going to be a bad day

That's what I said and it I knew.

All because I woke up this morning

With a bad case of school day blues!

Questions:

What did you do while reading these lines?

Of what did these lines remind you?
